Jonny & Logan’s wedding was an absolute dream! From working with some of my favorite people, getting to use farm fresh flowers, and having the ceremony and venue at a stunning farmhouse- pure bliss! I got to know Logan and her family though Aunt Cindy. Those who know Aunt Cindy love her; she is one of those vibrant people who is as genuine as she is mischievous. Once I got started on Logan’s flowers, I realized the local flower farm I was sourcing most of the flowers from, was just a mile away from where the ceremony would be held! Aunt Cindy’s farmhouse backyard proved to be such an idyllic location for Jonny & Logan to say ‘i do’.

Zack & Rene

Fall wedding on Greenbluff? Could there be anything more perfect?! Working with Rene to build her vison of a fall wedding on The Bluff was so easy; Rene is such a fun loving easy going lady who knows what she wants. The colors and textured inspired by fall in the Inland Northwest were captured in Rene’s bouquet and complimented by the venue Belles on the Bluff.

Taylor & Megan

Weddings at any historical site or building are always so classy and elegant. Megan’s choice of jewel toned flowers added such depth and texture to the already stately Glover Mansion. This weekend was one of the few ‘double headers’ I have done in recent years, but I was certainly glad to do it! Working with both Megan and Rene in the same weekend was a breeze; each had their own styles, ideas, and of course venues. As far as late fall weddings in the Inland Northwest go, Taylor and Megan’s was certainly a bright spot in our cold November weather.

Tim & Steph

What can I say about doing flowers for friends…it is my very favorite thing to do! Tim & Steph’s wedding was especially special; their original wedding had been planned during 2020, but was then postponed to 2021. The wait was hard, but the result of their waiting turned out to be one of the most fun weddings I have ever had the pleasure of being a part of. To start with, both my husband and oldest son were in the wedding. I was able to arrive early, set up flowers, pin a boutonniere or two, tie a bow tie, straighten my skirt, and away we went! Steph’s vision of a semi-cascading bouquet, and a round arbor covered in winter greens was an absolute crown on top of the already lovely Glover Mansion.

Jordan & Kenzie

Can we just talk about how fun Kenzie is? There are some people that you meet in life and think, wow, if we would have met anywhere else but over your wedding budget, I’m sure we’d be besties. That’s Kenzie for you, am pretty sure I wasn’t the only vendor who felt like that! Jordan & Kenzie’s wedding day was so blustery! Kenzie’s mom and I were giggling like little girls as we kept having to pick things up that plopped over in the wind. But man, what a sweet wedding for some cool folks.

Anna & Ben

Getting to do the flowers for a friend’s wedding is my FAVORITE! It has been such an honor to be able to do flowers for so many of my friends these last few years. I’ve known Ben since my paintballing days, back when I first started flirting with my now husband, and met Anna a few years ago when she and Ben became a ‘thing’. Anna’s wild Alaska spirit, coupled with a love of wine and animals makes her such a fierce friend to have!

Brock & Amanda

Brock & Amanda’s wedding was culmination of a year and half of planning, and a dream of getting to do a wedding in Dover, ID. I had driven through Dover the previous summer and fell in love with that twisting country road by the river and told everyone how much I wanted to go back, little did I know Amanda had her sights on me and we’d be meeting shortly after that. I instantly fell in love with Amanda’s style and appreciated every time she told me, ‘I trust you’ when it came to taking a bit of creative license. The day of the wedding was perfection; it was a bit chilly for June, but being at the Homestead Barn with Robyn and her crew as so peaceful and fun. Brent made sure he took the time to come up and say hello, and man did he take some good pictures! All in all, Brock & Amanda’s wedding was one of the highlights of my summer.

This was not the first wedding I did in this lovely back yard. The lovely bride asked that I focus on the flowers rather than pictures of her sweet family. Jennifer was so detailed in her work, there was no shortage of detail pictures to choose from!

Kaleb & Brooke

Brooke has had a crush on my son since he was about 5 days old, when he peed on her, twice. I don’t know that she ever heard the story of how I missed most of their ceremony either; he had the worst blow out on record. But enough about my son, how about those two love birds? Putting Brooke’s flowers together was so easy; her style and color choices were perfect for the season and the wooded background.

Dr & Dr

Alex & Kaylyn’s wedding is one I will never forget. It could be because I always adore the chance to do wedding flowers for my friends, could be that my husband got to be one of the groomsmen, but it is probably most of all because we had just welcomed our first son into the world not 2 weeks before the wedding took place. I cannot speak higher of the staff at Barrister; they not only had all of Dr & Dr’s details taken care of, they took extra care of me and young Jameson to make sure we had all we needed. Even with some last minuet panic about missing cake, my mom blocking the driveway with my screaming 2 week old child, and my sincere attempt to calm the bride down before the ceremony (none of which she remembered), it was a beautiful wedding, and one I will never forget.
